Starting at the tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans collide, the adrenaline junkie can enjoy anything from diving with Great White Sharks, hiking up beautiful Table Mountain, bungee jumping, paragliding, kite-surfing and cycling through multitudes of vineyards where some of the best wines in the world are cultivated. Moving a little north, where the beaches are warmer, the adventurer can turn into a volunteer and visit endangered wildlife camps, play with cubs and assist in rhino conservation projects.
The African deserts offer sand-boarding adventures, 4×4 dune drives, camel rides and amazing nomadic treks. Beyond the deserts are the lush jungles of Africa where wildlife abounds, gorillas and chimps await to be discovered and crocodiles and hippos wade in its wondrous waters. The Serengeti planes display one of natures greatest events as the Great Migration takes place yearly. This can be experienced on an over-land safari or in a hot-air balloon. And while you are experiencing this great scene, the great Mount Kilimanjaro awaits to be summited.
